Point of Difference

Naturaliste Charters is your ticket to discovering the beautiful West Australia coast and the treasures it has to offer. You can choose to go whale watching from Augusta, Dunsborough or Busselton depending on your visit’s time. You can also head out on an eco tour to visit the wildlife inhabiting the Geographe Bay coast line and be amazed by the antics of dolphins and fur seals at the Cape to Cape region. You can enjoy all of these and more thanks to the innovative structure of the vessels and the skills of the crew, some of which have degrees in Marine Biology.

Vessel

Naturaliste Charters runs the Cetacean Explorer.

The Explorer is a 17m purpose-built catamaran that can fit 50 passengers at a time. It offers a spacious lounge, bar facilities, comfortable seating and wheelchair accessible cabin and toilet. You can choose to sit inside the cabin or enjoy the salty air and waves on the foredeck.

Services

Naturaliste Charters is most famous for its whale watching trips. You can enjoy the coastline for 2-3 hours while looking out for the Humpback whale, Southern Right Whale and rare Blue and Minke whales. Even if you don’t get your heart’s fill of whales, you can rest assured that the fur seals inhabiting Flinders Island as well as the dolphins and sea birds will bring a smile to your face.

You can also go on an eco tour to discover the beauty of Geographe Bay and some of the top Australian beaches such as Meelup Beach and Eagle Bay. A professional guide will provide you with an overview of the history of the area and thrill you with trivia on the limestone caves and cliff faces you will see.

The third service Naturaliste Charters is deep sea fishing. You and professionals will head to the south west of Western Australia on a 55ft purpose built charter vessel that is fitted with a CD stereo, BBQ, TV, microwave and fridge freezer. Chances are that you will catch Dhufish, Pink Snapper, Samson fish and Baldchin Groper.

Aside from these services, you can book Naturaliste Charters’ vessels for corporate and social functions, weddings, private whale watching tours and parties. Your functions can be fully catered or you can bring your own caterers.
