Boranup Forest Retreat is a secluded accommodation that offers you privacy and comfort within a forest. With different housing options to offer, there is something suitable for every taste.

Point of Difference:

Spread across50 acres, Boranup Forest Retreat is a tranquil bush property where kangaroos, emus and a large goanna reside and entertain guests. The flora and fauna help make this accommodation option one of the heavens on earth found in Australia. This is one of the reasons many head to relax at the lodge, which is a large rammed earth house surrounded by timber, or one of the rammed-earth chalets that come with every amenity you require for your comfort.

Boranup Forest Retreat is minutes away from Margaret River’s top wineries and beaches, making it the perfect hideaway to relax in after a busy day of sightseeing. You can also travel from the property t to Augusta, Bunbury, Busselton and Pemberton to discover what each of these nearby areas has to offer you and your tastes.

Number of Rooms/style of rooms:

The Lodge offers five bedrooms, which sleep up to 18 people, and three sitting rooms. As for the two chalets, these sleep six each and appeal to your sense of class with marri and jarrah furniture.

The Kookaburra Chalet

Our 2brm rammed chalets are named after local birds, as seen on Kookaburra chalet’s double entry doors.

This chalet is spacious and well appointed, with lovely marri and jarrah furniture and a wood-burning stove.

Kookaburra has two bedrooms and sleeps 6. It has two queen size beds and a large comfortable settee in the lounge.

Curl up with a good book and a glass of wine or enjoy a movie on Foxtel or a DVD.

The separate spa room with corner spa and patio garden with mural wall is magic and gives you that added privacy.

The Blue Wren Chalet

Blue Wren is spacious and well- appointed with lovely marri and jarrah furniture and wood-burning stove. Lie back and sip champagne in your own separate spa room, at the end of the chalet.

Your corner spa and patio garden with mural wall, for that added privacy, is magic! Watch the birds as you enjoy your own gazebo with BBQ.

This spacious two bedroom chalet sleeps 6, and has a king-size bed. With two settees, one a very comfortable sofa bed, Blue Wren is great for friends sharing or cosy enough for your romantic getaway.

Wake up to emus passing through the property or take your torch and spotlight the kangaroos with the kids.

Rates:

Tariffs at Boranup Forest Retreat’s Lodge start from AUD 360 per night for up to 6 guests. Additional individuals will be charged $60 per person per night while children can stay for half price. Two nights’ stay minimum is required except for large groups.

As for the chalets, tariffs start from AUD 180. Rates are based on two guests for the Kookaburra and Blue Wren chalets.

Boranup Forest Retreat is close to Caves Road, where the famous Mammoth and Jewel Caves are located. It is also near the Boranup Forest, where nature lovers can discover different and exciting flora and fauna. In addition, if you’re residing at the Lodge, you will be able to hike along the Bibulman Track. Aside from these very close attractions, you can always head to nearby cities, including the most famous Margaret River, to enjoy the artistic, culinary and natural treasures they have to offer.
