Deb Ives, supervisor at the Margaret River Chocolate Co., said that the newly introduced sea-salted caramels, which are made up of French sea salt, local cream and butter, had proven to be extremely popular with customers.

The Margaret River Chocolate Co. set up a new shop in Murray, Perth a few months ago and has increased its chocolate production in recent times. Spokesperson Martin Black said that despite its expansion, the Margaret River Chocolate Co. is keen to remain a boutique producer of chocolate where quality and innovation are paramount.

He stressed the need to strive for constant improvement and this has been reflected in the company’s success at the Perth Royal Show for over a decade.

“Every year these competitions give our chocolatiers an opportunity to shine and display their creativity and commitment to quality,” Black said.
