Little Athletics Gearing Up

With a new committee and new president, Margaret River Little Athletics Club is all set for the new season.

The news article “Lining up for Little Aths” has full details on this story. It says the following: “The club is taking registrations today, Wednesday, and on Saturday for the coming summer season of Little Athletics which starts on Saturday, November 3. Children can be registered 3.30-5.30pm today and 9-11am on Saturday at the Augusta-Margaret River Hawks Football Club rooms at Gloucester Park.” http://www.margaretrivermail.com.au/story/307949/lining-up-for-little-aths/?cs=1807

Sadie Breslin, mother of the club’s star athlete, Troy, was selected the new president during a committee meeting last week. Jeanette Smith is the club’s coach.

“We still have a few vacant positions on the committee, but we did get a couple of new people along to the meeting which was good,” Breslin said.

Fee for the new season is $100 for the first member and $85 for every subsequent member from the same family. The activity is open to all kids between seven and 17 years of age and held on Saturday mornings on the main oval of Gloucester Park. Regardless of size and athletic capability, all kids can enjoy the activities that Little Athletics has to offer.

Online registrations for Little Athletics will be open from October 1st at resultshq.com.au. For further details call Sadie Breslin at 0438 916 396 or email mrlacrego@gmail.com.
