Dolphin Encounter Leaves Surfer Hospitalised

Local surfer Troy Robinson was left with a broken arm after a close encounter with dolphins. He said that he was surfing at Ellensbrook when he realised there were around 30 dolphins around him. At first, Troy thought it was amazing to be so close to the giant creatures, but as the water got foamier and a few of them started coming toward him, he knew he was in trouble. He was left with a broken left arm and a damaged surfboard after a 6ft long dolphin swam into him. The surfer had to undergo a surgery to reconstruct his broken bone with a metal plate.
