Margaret River Tests Free Wifi
A trial of free wireless internet access for the Margaret River town centre will kick off on Friday, Dec 20th at a number of locations alongside the main street. The initiative comes as the test run for Margaret River Chamber of Commerce’s plan to offer blanket wireless access in the town within one year.  Chamber president Peter Griffyn said that the trial would initially test the range of wifi signals of the selected equipment. He said that in the second phase, residents, visitors and small businesses would be able to access the network during chosen usage periods. The trial will run until Jan 16th.
