Two Victories In Pre-Season Carnival

The Augusta Margaret River Football Club is having a great pre-season carnival, recording two wins over the weekend.

In their first match against the Bulls, the Augusta Margaret River Football Club started off superbly with six goals, five points and managed to keep the opposition scoreless during the first half. The second half turned out to be more even-stevens with the Hawks managing four goals, three points against the Bulls’ three goals, one point. The final score was Hawks 10-8 to Harvey Bulls 3-1.

The second match was played against the homeside Donnybrook and an impressive first half once again saw the Hawks leading with five goals, one point, whereas Donnybrook remained scoreless. Donnybrook made a strong come back in the second half, scoring three goals while restricting the Augusta Margaret River Football Club to one goal, three points that at the final whistle gave the Hawks victory. The final score was the Hawks 6-10 to Donnybrook 3-0.
