Cyclists Gearing Up For Delirium 24hr Race

Registrations are now open for the 2013 Delirium 24 hour cycle race taking place in the southwest in April. Everybody is invited to come along and enjoy the adventure of riding in Western Australia’s most exciting and challenging bike race.

It says the following, “Cyclists will count down two weeks until the Delirium 24 hour cycle race is on again in Cowaramup. Held from April 20 to 21, the event offers the chance for people to raise money for the Lung Institute of WA and also earn themselves a jersey or bike.”

Cyclists of all skill levels can take part in the event which sees both solo riders and teams race to finish the maximum number of laps around a 3.7 kilometre course within 24 hours.

Solo riders are $150 and teams of six can register for $540. Places for the Delirium 24 hour cycle race are limited.

The Delirium 24 hour cycle race is a great opportunity to experience the ultimate in cycling challenges and go home with a sense of pride and accomplishment that comes with finishing a 24 hour race. You can choose to take up the challenge of riding through the night while your rivals start to feel tired and think of going to bed.

For the first time in its history, Delirium will feature a 12 hour version this year. The Delirium 12 hour will be open to junior teams and solo riders only.
