The Spitfires are Perth’s response to an era devastated by global financial crisis and unrest throughout the main cities. Unified at the peak of the recession as a group to express their frustration over the condition of the world, the guys are known for being controversial right from beginning. Only after five months together, The Spitfires have already launched their first EP, Firestorm. This raw sounding EP was recorded, mastered and mixed in just two days and got great positive feedback.

As a band, The Spitfires’ unique pedigree superbly places them in the Aussie music industry as both the local and outside… an ideally fitting result for a band whose music background is as diverse as what they have done with it. The band takes inspiration from everything UK whether it is the Arctic Monkeys or The Smiths.
