Comprising of Katie J White and David Rastrick, The River Beats is a multi-talented duo hailing from Denmark in south western WA. Their touching and emotional songs can be compared to a smooth flowing river as this union between two all-round musicians invokes wonderful vocal harmonies, trumpet magic and rootsy acoustic grooves.

The River Beats play amazing music that suits just about any occasion—with styles ranging from reggae, blues, jazz to acoustic folk roots. The pair loves going with the flow and adapting their songs to fit the situation. The River Beats frequently perform at gigs, parties, festivals, corporate events, hotels, restaurants and weddings. They have been travelling around WA to places like Margaret River, Albany, Broome, Fremantle, Denmark, Kalbarri, Carnarvon and Dunsborough with the Bridgetown Blues festival, Margaret River Wine Region Festival and Karridale Mini Arts Festival being the major highlights.
