How To Taste Wine @ Killerby Wines

September 24, 2014 @ 10:30 - September 25, 2014 @ 15:30

Free

b_Killerby7761Head down to Killerby Margaret River for a casual & practical approach to wine tasting, from opening a bottle correctly and how to look for faults, to the wine glass and how our taste buds work… all the good stuff to get you comfortable tasting wine!

Since its establishment in 1973, Killerby has grown to be one of Western Australia’s leading small wineries, with a reputation for producing an outstanding range of varietal wines, namely Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Semillon.

Killerby maintains its small winery essence with most of its winemaking techniques and philosophies remaining the same since it was first established. The vines are hand pruned; select parcels of fruit are partially handpicked; the wine is made using small batch techniques; highest quality French oak barrels and meticulous attention to winemaking detail.

2014 marks the centenary year for Killerby, to commemorate this achievement they have created ‘The Killerby Icon Cabernet Sauvignon’ marking 100 years of trading in the south west.
