Arts Margaret River
The 2011 Arts Margaret River Readers and Writers Festival is taking place again this year on 13-17th May with the theme of “Passion.” Attracting writers from all over Australia and the world, the festival has always been a great community event that stimulates enthusiasm in reading and writing in people of all ages.
Initiated in 2009, the Margaret River Readers and Writers Festival has been a huge success at promoting the literary arts, with last year’s themes of travel and history offering something for everyone. Now in its third year, the festival is set to be bigger than ever and will attract some great authors to participate in the forums.
The festival will be yet another chance for the region to show off its creative talents, not only in the literary sense, but also in the culinary arts. The best of local food, Margaret River wine and culture will all be on display with the forums and dinners being held throughout the Margaret River region.
