Margaret River Olive Oil is not what you might have expected from a region which is best known for its premium wines, but this part of Australia is also a rich agricultural region. And many of the features of the locate climate that make it so good for growing grapes also make it possible for Margaret River olive oil to compete with the best of the Mediterranean.
The majority of Margaret River olive oil is sold direct to restaurants and retail outlets but you can find some on location at a variety of local farms, most of which are open to visitors and allow for tastings. Some locations offer a variety of products made from Margaret River olive oil, such as soaps, infused oils, chutneys, beauty products, body care items, and accessories.
Some of these businesses offer adjoining cafés where you can enjoy freshly pressed “EVOO” with your meal. Margaret River olive oil is also available off the shelf at the local grocery store, if you don’t have time for a separate trip to an estate.

There are currently over 200 acres of vine, around 600 olive trees and a total headcount of 600 Murray Grey beef cattle onsite along with birds, kangaroos, bushland and some family homes.

With Café: Olio Bello like to pride themselves with combining some of the finest Extra Virgin Olive Oil an assortment of products, including citrus pressed oils, and oils infused with roasted garlic, chilli and parmesan. They also have a lovely café to combine food with olive oil.
Soap: The Natural Olive Oil Soap Factory makes a range of soaps and personal care items out of Margaret River olive oil. If you or your loved ones have dermatitis, eczema or other sensitive skin conditions, you might consider trying some of these gentle and all-natural soaps.
Multiple producers:If you want to sample a range of Margaret River olive oil producers, look no further than the local IGA supermarket in town. You can buy a variety of producers’ best pressings right off the shelf.
